It's a pretty special opportunity to be able breathe new life into the home you grew up in as a kid and now as an adult with a family of your own. Your fancy -free childhood memories flower into new ones, but now with your own kiddos. This also likely means that the house requires some TLC and updates through the years. Turning things upsides down to get a new perspective is just part of that change. Here, we removed a long dividing wall and a reorganized the windows to open up the space and let the sunshine in. It gave the core of the home an entirely new feeling while expanding the kitchen significantly in both space and function. The now open floor plan connects the kitchen, family, dining, and work spaces into a unified whole that brings everyone and everything together.
